Abstract
The National Science Olympiad (OSN) is a competition event that aims to improve students' abilities and achievements in the field of science. To improve the ability of students at SMA Negeri 4 Medan in facing the OSN in Chemistry at the district/city level in 2025, effective and structured provision is needed. This service aims to determine the effectiveness of the Observe, Imitate and Modify (ATM) method in improving students' abilities in facing OSN in the field of Chemistry. This provision is carried out through a series of activities which include the introduction of chemical concepts, analysis of OSN questions, and practice of relevant questions. The results of this service show that the ATM method is effective in improving students' abilities in dealing with OSN in the field of Chemistry. Students who took part in ATM training showed a significant increase in their ability to analyze and solve complex chemistry problems, students showed an increase in their critical and creative thinking abilities. This service can be an effective alternative provision to improve students' abilities in facing OSN in the field of Chemistry and is expected to contribute to the development of a more effective and structured provision method to improve student achievement in the field of science.
